Sogiry extension privacy policy
Last updated: 31 October 2026
This policy covers the Sogiry extension for Chrome. It explains what the extension reads, what it sends to our servers, and why.
01Who we are
Sogiry is operated by MB Banginių Sprendimai, company code 307193665, Konstitucijos pr. 9, LT-09308 Vilnius, Lithuania. For privacy questions, write to pagalba@sogiry.com.
02What the extension does
On product pages of supported online stores, Sogiry reads the product shown (name, price, identifiers such as EAN or SKU, and the page address) and asks our servers which other stores sell the same product, and at what price.
The extension runs only on the store sites listed in its permissions. It does not read other websites, form fields, passwords or payment details.
03What we send to our servers
Product lookups: the address of the supported store page you open, and the product name, price and identifiers on it.
Page events: whether a product was found on a supported store page, which keeps product detection working.
Device details: a random device identifier created at install, the extension version and the browser platform. These apply daily limits and keep a license on the right devices.
Tracked products (Pro): the product pages you choose to track and your alert price, so we can check them and alert you.
License and subscription: the email you enter and, if you give them, your company and store domain. Payments are handled by Stripe, so we never see your card number. Stripe tells us the subscription status and invoice details.
Error reports: technical errors in the extension, so we can fix them.
04What stays in your browser
Your store, margin floor, VAT rate, language, the unit costs you enter, and the price history shown in the app. Settings and costs are kept in Chrome sync storage, so Chrome may sync them between your signed-in browsers. They are not sent to our servers.
05How we use information
Only to provide Sogiry's features: comparing prices, tracking products, sending alerts, managing your license, and stopping abuse.
We do not sell data, use it for advertising, or pass it to third parties, except the service providers Sogiry needs to run (hosting, email delivery, and Stripe for payments).
The use of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
06How long we keep it
We keep lookup and event records only as long as needed to run and secure the service, then delete or anonymise them. License and invoice records are kept as long as accounting law requires.
07Your choices and rights
Removing the extension deletes its data in your browser. In settings you can remove a device from your license.
Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your data. Write to pagalba@sogiry.com. You can also complain to the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate.
08Changes
When this policy changes we update the date at the top, and we tell you about material changes in the extension or by email.
